SEO CONTENT SPECIALIST
We’re looking for an SEO Content Specialist to drive organic growth and lead generation through expert SEO strategy and content optimization. You’ll focus on keyword research, on-page SEO, and leveraging AI SEO tools and techniques to create and optimize content that ranks well on traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms like Google’s AI Overview and ChatGPT. You will analyze SEO and web performance data to continuously improve content effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Write and optimize SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, landing pages, and website copy to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
- Use AI SEO tools and techniques such as topic clustering, search intent analysis, and AI-powered content optimization to scale efforts and capture traffic from AI-driven search results.
- Stay abreast of advancements in AI search technologies (e.g., Google’s AI algorithms, ChatGPT and other conversational AI platforms) and adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
- Perform on-page SEO audits and implement improvements including meta tags, internal linking, and site structure.
- Analyze SEO and website performance data using Google Analytics and other tools to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure content aligns with brand voice and drives measurable results.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics and continuously adjust strategies for improvement.
KEY PERFORMANCE GOALS
- Increase organic traffic and improve search rankings for targeted keywords, including visibility on AI-powered search platforms.
- Grow qualified leads generated from organic channels.
- Optimize content to improve engagement metrics and conversion rates.
- Maintain high standards of SEO compliance and content quality
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in SEO content writing and optimization, ideally in B2B marketing.
- Strong writing and editing skills tailored for SEO performance.
- Familiarity with AI SEO tools such as SurferSEO, Clearscope, or similar.
- Solid understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and content management systems.
- Proficient with Google Analytics and SEO performance metrics.
- Basic HTML and web publishing knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Portfolio or examples of SEO-focused content preferred.
